Confuse Me
The best of the world is mysterious and disorienting, requiring some reflection before it allows even a moment of clarity. How could I exist in a world so utterly crisp, clean, and straight-forward that my sense never wandered or my mind never reeled? Why would I want to?

Lightblot Test
Light is the condition or substance that makes vision possible and allows us to see the world around us as it is. It is by light that we learn to recognize the faces of those we love and witness how we interact with one another.
However, it is the things that we see when they aren't there that show us ourselves as we really are - the events that take place in our dreams when we sleep, or the images we find in abstracted forms as in an inkblot test.
Which is more real - the world that we see as it is exposed by light, or our own natures as revealed by the images we see when reality isn't clear?
Series of diptychs
Canon AE-1, 35 mm film
approximately 4" x 4" each
